Well Dear Reader, if you are like me and spot this tale in the listings and think that Game Lit is just not your thing, please take a second because you just might enjoy this tale anyway.
Firstly, a Disclaimer, I have never played games like this. I have never seen Skyrim or anything unless you consider that I have seen my son play Warcraft and other similar games.
I have read a lot of high fantasy stories over the years so all of this wasn't that new to me. It was obvious that after the battles the potions and healing would also come with rewards, that is how those games work so I didn't think it that surprising.
What did surprise me is how quickly I got sucked into the whirlwind that was Martina Grize, Dragonborn and many other titles. I just loved the adventures she undertook and amazingly survived. Even journeys in the underworld and having conversations with the Gods of that realm.
The sex scenes were mostly fun and good for a laugh. Loved the inclusion of loving healing, a nice touch.
So, to the review. The Plot was well constructed and consistent.
Grammar... Sigh, generally good but there were some places where I would just sigh and plod along. Silly things like when to use 'passed' and when to use 'past'. Learn your Grammer budding Authors. It will make you a better writer.
Technical. This was good. Most of it had been checked and commas placed, sentences generally made sense. Star Fleet Carl, please take a good look at this again. So often there was a simple word left off. Find an Editor, please. Polish this gem a bit more to make it really shine.
Appeal. Allowing for my initial disclaimer about Skyrim and Fantasy Games I have it hard for good High Fantasy stories. Orcs, Elves, Vampires, Giants and Magic. Oh my! But including Dragons? Oh yes, Dragons and more Dragons, please!
