The author, Wolf, specializes in Poly stories. Not Poly want a cracker, more like Poly want a lover, or two, or more. His characters are well rounded, well the women are curvy but their characters and characteristics and those of the men are displayed well in this, as well as his other stories. This one is only two chapters, so there are only five characters, or maybe six if you include the wife who died two years before the story starts. Most combinations and permutations are presented, except the MM squick that would turn off most readers, including me.

The sex is hot and frequent. The plot has one surprise I won't spoil. I am going to give it an A, an 8. Its hard to pack lots of twists and turns and other surprises into two chapters. Its technically fine, I didn't notice any flaws, but it is against company policy to give tens, except to appeal to reviewer, and that very infrequently. Maybe once a month. So technical winds up with an A plus, a 9.

Lets go with an 8 for appeal, that's an A. I liked it, I didn't love it. Its very good for the much sex type of story, but the more tab a into slots (that's slots, not sluts) b and c action, the less character development and opportunity to get to sympathize with and like the hero and other characters.

I am happy they got together. The story is well worth reading. I am not going to demand a sequel, or some pronouncement about what happens next. The ending is not at a life changing event, like marriage, birth, or a graduation or new job. It ends with everybody happy, but going to have to go to work next Monday. Real life, not supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. (I am amazed, my spell check has that word.)

Read it, its well worth your time. I would be surprised if it wound up on a top 50 list, so if you use up all sixteen of your stories before it ages off the home page, its an annoyance, not a tragedy.

Plot: 8 | Technical Quality: 9 | Appeal to Reviewer: 8
