Guns (lots of guns), cars, tech, combat, this is a massively bloke-ish story, but I always felt connected to the appealing female protagonist. The action is non-stop and convincingly written, the pacing is terrific and the sense of motion and purpose is relentless.

The plot largely serves these ends, I think it's fair to say, and it will probably work best for readers who are inclined to be enthusiastic. It's an exciting post-apocalyptic tale, and I enjoyed it a lot.
