This is a very good story, and in addition a very well written one. Of course the hero is named Bob. Bob Masters. And there is a Halloween theme. Sort of. I don't normally like stories about zombies, but this isn't, really. Just kids trick or treating dressed that way. There is some but very little violence. First a riot, not elaborately described, and later on the hero, Bob, avoids getting hit by a stick and instead hits the guy who tried to hit him. On the violence scale from one to ten its a two.
There is lots of hot sex, and it ends well. Of course there is a pregnancy, this is a Lubrican story.
And of course it is not only well written and moves smoothly through its thoroughbred paces but also technically without flaw. If you have read very many SOL stories at all it shouldn't be necessary to tell you to read whatever he writes, except maybe the ones that get to be premier member only stories.
Lets do the numbers. I use six for a C, seven for a B and eight for an A. Nine is an A Plus. I give one ten a month, most months. The plot is smooth and does what is needed for the story but doesn't go crazy so you think, wow, there should be more words to resolve all the twists and turns. Its a good plot, and that is an A, an eight. This is a nine for technical quality, Lubrican does exceptionally high quality work and credits several helpers. Why not a ten? I am trying to use those for stories that leave me speechless.
I can review this so its a nine. Again, appeal to reviewer is very high, A plus. I think I already used my ten for October. Its only about ten chapters, if it were much longer maybe it would be my ten for this month. I am not criticizing the length, its perfect for the story. But really long stories if they were this good would be a ten, to reward all that work. I think my problem is that all Lubrican stories are so good its hard to pick any one out as even more special.
