Reviewed:
I've now read several of this author's works. To be honest, this one was probably the weakest.
I only gave it an 8 instead of a 9. If you've followed my reviews, you already know that I'm a miser when it comes down to scores, so this is high praise.
The Good:
Good plot. several intersting charachters. Enough conflict to avoid being a Pollyanna story.
The Bad:
So many characters that some get lost in the shuffle, and when I came across a character who last appeared four chapters ago, I didn't always remember how they fit in. There were also some similar names, which is a pet peeve of mine. There was occasional confusion over whether the story was first or third person. There also seemed to be more typos than I generally find acceptable.
The Final Word:
I'd read some of his other works first, but this one should not be ignored.
