This is an extremely well written tale with more twists and turns in the plot than many a maze!
The central characters are well drawn and credible.
I am not going to spoil it by giving a synopsis of the plot as some reviewers are wont to do. Believe me, you do not want to know the ending until you get there, as that would take away much of the fun and enjoyment. I made many guesses along the way; most of them were wrong!
Go on, invest some time in reading this excellent tale. You will be well rewarded and your investment will give you a good return.

To start off, I think this story needs one more code. It is definitely a Mystery.
It also is a great story of a person who was beaten almost to death, how he fought back from that devastating event, the beautiful women who supported him, and how he solved the mystery of who wanted him dead.
This is a fairly long story and it deserves the slow tag as a mystery should.
Allan's beating has caused him memory problems and he starts out without much to help him. His memory does come back bit by bit, and it does help him in his relationships with his women, but not too much in solving the mystery. The facts of the beating do eventually come to light, but not without a few blind alleys along the way.
The author does a very good job of describing the characters. All of them have some very strong characteristics and some have not so good histories.
The editing was very good. I think I detected less than 10. The sex is not frequent, but when it happens, it is good and shows a lot of love.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I am afraid I did not figure out the killer before the hero, but it was not a surprise when it was revealed.
