Reviewed:
I've liked this author (and his alter ego Kenneth Hammond on XNXX with longer stories) and nominated him (them?) for a golden clitoride last year. The stories are a bit formulistic, but its a good formula. There are pretty close to a hundred stories on SOL now with more coming, if my guess is right. They tend to be western or military stories adapted to SF or Fantasy background. The hero tends to be young, mid teens at the start and often orphans, which makes their successes even more satisfying.
Usually there are a couple of sex scenes in each story but they don't slow down the action. There is a lot of violence in most of these stories, as the hero makes his way through armies of villains. That may not be fair, depending on the story and the hero's supporters, there may be only a dozen or so. Sometimes the hero gets wounded. The bad guys die. The hero and his girlfriends, usually at least two, often more but not usually a big harem, live happily ever after once he and they retire to a paradise planet or estate to raise children. Of course he is rich and can satisfy all his women as often as they want, no matter how old he gets. Its good fiction.
In the interests of full disclosure there are occasional creative spellings or homonyms. There is no credit for an editor and his output is stupendous. Considering he does it himself and the limited time available for an individual story, he does a good but not perfect job. Personally I would just as soon get the high output to read than wait for one perfect story a month.
I seldom find more than one ten a month and I read a lot of stories when I vote for story. I am new at this reviewing business lots of other reviews only review stories they love and I have seem mostly tens in their reviews. I guess I am going to be different.
The plots particularly this one is an 8 (I rounded a high 7 up) Technically it's a 9. I didn't see any problems but I didn't try to edit it, I let it flow. Maybe I missed a to that should have been a too. Appeal to reviewer, It's a nine, but I am a sucker for these stories. Don't just read this one. Over the next couple of months, read one or two a day. If you try to read 16 a day you will run out of space for anything else on SOL and they will kind of run together in your mind. Think of a John Wayne B Western movie. One a week is fine, I wouldn't want to spend all my time a that kind of film festival. John was the only star in most of his movies set in Texas, because Texas is the lone star state.
