A short humorous story about being an author. I am sure that some other authors have had these experiences, although to a smaller degree. Such are the advantages/disadvantages to a site that allows as much feed back as SOL.

Overall the story has a fascinating concept of what to do after retiring.
Doing something keeping the mind active, the retiree could take up golf, fishing, or any other action. Staying seated, he chose his preference, writing short stories. He has developed an exciting, worthwhile skill with tremendous feedback from the reading community. But it is hard to please everyone. He seemed to react with every comment. From his oldest son's input to posting his writings online on SOL, to changing his golfer's sex to a female player, from golf to tennis, location greens to Courts, equipment clubs to rackets, and the list go on and on.
Since the story is fiction and all his feedback happens within a few lines, the story moves very quickly. After posting his first attempt and receiving feedback, the tale takes off. What happens is funny and enjoyable; I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
The story 'Unintended Consequences' by 'Banadin' is an excellent read well worth the few minutes it takes.

Pure sarcasm and humor make this short work worth the few minutes it takes to read. It helps put us critics/readers/reviewers in our place, and reminds us that an author's work is just that, his/her own. It is one thing to suggest corrections to grammar and punctuation or spelling, but another altogether to start messing with a story's plot.
As short as it was, it still gets an A (8) for plot and appeal, along with an A+ (9) for technical score.
