Reviewed:
I am going to take this moment and review to disagree with the majority of readers. The story, at the time of this writing, has a score of 8.00, and I am going to give my first bad review.
The Bad:
The conversation is stilted. The narrator is without discernible flaw. The love interest goes from angry to in love in a blink, with no noticeable transitory period. The motivation for the action sequence is barely there and makes no sense.
The Good:
The pre-action section of the plot is interesting. Several of the supporting characters are interesting and well-drawn. The story is a sappy as advertised, which I find fun from time to time.
The Last Call:
If the score was a 6, I would say that this is one to read if you are bored and have nothing else to read. However, with such a high score, you're just going to have to read it and see for yourself. I hope you enjoy it more than I did.
