For a time I posted under the pseudonym of "Deana Johns". Hope I never take myself that seriously again.
The only reason I'm posting again is that recently I had my computer read me some of my old stories, and by damn I'm afraid that -I think- some of them are pretty damn good.
In particular the first story I'll post, which was previously unposted anywhere, because I was trying to get it published.
Thought I was successful at it too... as I was waiting for a check to arrive... and waited.. and waited. Investigation revealed the publisher had bellied up and gone out of business.
The story has just been wasting away on my computer ever since, I'd rather it was being read.
