25 years ago I started the Earthbound Series, a set of novels about a civilization founded when a 23rd century interstellar mission from Earth suffers a warp accident sending them 5,000 years into the past, where on an earth-like planet they found a colony that thrives. Needing Earth plants to survive they send agents to Earth to who covertly walk among Earth's population to gather genetic material.
The stories center on Nykkyo Kyhana, such an agent sent to Earth in the early days of the 21st century for a 1-year stint. His work becomes far from mundane when he encounters a troubled woman he believes is his direct ancestor and in serious need of help.
Back in the early days of the Internet, before Google abandoned it's "Don't be evil" motto and before SEO and AI, the Earthbound titles were regularly in the top 10 search results for queries like "Download Sci-Fi Novels" and have been downloaded thousands of times.
But that was then & this is now. I thought I might try posting them here in hopes of finding a new readership.
