No group sex, harems, orgies, etc. Just two people who find each other, fall in love, and stay together. Can be any age, can be after a divorce, or when one is a widow/er. Just need to read something about a romantic relationship.

Don Lockwood used to be the master at that.
Coaster2's stories are mostly along those lines.
ShadowWriter has some along those lines.
Most of Argon's tales fit.
They are everywhere.
Thank you, I've read quite a few from them. I was looking for people who aren't the usual suspects.
What about Tony Stevens? Most (but not all) of his qualify, in particular https://storiesonline.net/s/60292/long-reliever
Try Oldsarge69. His stories do have a little drama, but just enough to make the end sweeter.

Thank you, I'm not familiar with his stories. I like drama as counterpoint to the sappiness of romance.
PennLady is also great at this. Especially her most recent stories.
(Also *cough* a couple of mine: Kiss the Girls, Testing, and They and They being the just-one-couple romances.)
Um. I forgot to mention that none of mine have straight couples. Afterthought, as there are folks hereabouts who prefer not to be ambushed by queer romances.
It's not there yet, so you have some time, but my Country Roads sreies does feature a very slow romance that progresses over multiple stories.
One of my favourites:
https://storiesonline.net/s/10321/boston-to-birmingham-romantic-story
Long, with drama, humor, multiple believable characters and a very sappy ending.
I couldn't get over the whole drugged out cheating thing but I am sure some people will agree that this is "sweet" and "sappy".
Jay Cantrell's Runaway Train is pretty sweet, and is explicitly (in both meanings) 1 on 1.
Quite a few of Wes Boyd's works fit, Cattail and to a lesser extent the two Bullring Days stories (the second more than the first, but the first gives important backstory to both characters and starts the romance), Growing Together (although it needs Alone Together first, see later), and the Busted Axle Road/Runners Moon pair. On his Spearfish lake tales site is the first one I thought of, The Next Generation, is 'A light romance, not a bodice ripper.' Other noteworthies from the oldest, are Rocinante, the aforementioned Alone Together, Blue Beauty (though it's useful to have read Dawnwalker first), Square One, Stray Kitten, the third Bullring Days story, Blanche Tickle Girl, the first two 'Bird...' books taken as one, Out of the Cage (the fourth Bird book), Plain Jane, Golden Hour, and maybe Slippery Slopes.
Try Argon's works. A Christmas Story. Sex Lies & PCR. Pelle the Collier. In her Genes. His Lucky Charm.

All have a romantic element, with a happily ever after ending.
I've read a lot of Argon, love it all.
Argon is a noble gas.

I do love when you tackle the every day heroics and color. I enjoy reading when everyone becomes a lord or something, but it's not quite as nice as the slightly more normal people.
/confirmed argonaut
Fans of Argon think he ought to write more. They're Argonauts ;-)
More like Argonuts! :-)
Now for something entirely different -- a sweet love story that mixes identity theft, a philandering mate, heroism, a cruise from hell and bigamy with a dash of ironic vengence and you have https://storiesonline.net/s/73386/concordia by A.A. Nemo.

Well, that knocks most of mine out.
I do think I write "Romance Stories", but they are not quite like that. Generally, they are about the bumps in the road before a couple finally realize they are right for each other.
Think more of "When Harry Met Sally" or "Sleepless in Seattle" than most others. Quite often with drama and wrong choices before they realize they are for each other and get their "happily ever after".

My "Last Kiss" https://storiesonline.net/s/73777/last-kiss
Teenagers. No sex, though. Short story (although I have a full-length novel by the same name with the same two characters and the same premise but a different story). I had feedback from a few people on a different site that it was like Romeo and Juliet.
For a lasting teen relationship, you may want to try Melissa by JRyter.
https://storiesonline.net/s/18879:204996/chapter-1-melissa
When linking to a multi-chapter story, you might want to think about linking to the index/toc page rather than one of the chapters.

You are absolutely correct. My quirk is that I save my reading list by chapter and not by index. This was a quick copy and paste.
I find it amusing that your first post to this thread was that I was not being helpful to @mrfriendly in the correct manner. I suppose I could have just named an author or not provided a story link like others in this thread. If I've offended @mrfriendly with the way my recommendation was made, he has my apology.

That is not at all what I said. Nowhere did I use the words "wrong", or "not correct".
Others would recommend just linking to the author's page, because free users have a limited number of stories they can access per day.
I'm not sure if the index page counts against that, but even if it does, there are other benefits to linking to the index page.
primarily, that the index page has the story description and codes.
I admitted you were correct, stated the why and how the link was made, and apologized to OP for the incorrect manner of linkage. If that caused the OP and others to exceed their now 50 allotted stories, I double my apology. Perhaps Lazeez can subtract from my allotment to rectify the situation.
I'm still amused that an innocuous attempt to assist the OP resulted in your post. Rest assured that I will make no further attempts to assist or respond in any forum. It's simply not worth the effort.

Cat5 has some decent stories that might fit your requirements. It appears to be premiere now on this site.
"The Dance" by Rooftop Herald. https://finestories.com/s/11091/the-dance
Brand new story on Finestories. Exactly what you've asked for.
Thank you! I'll head over there and read it. :)
You'll probably find more like that on Finestories than on SOL. When the sex-component is not prevalent romantic stories tend to be more... romantic :)
