Any stories involving music (not including Intemperance)
Thanks
Runaway Train by Jay Cantrell.
Songbirds, also by Jay Cantrell.
Lightning in a Bottle by Sage Mullins has music as a strong subtheme.
Hope you like them.
ETA: These Girls Can Play is by Dr Paco Jones.
Rebecca Danced and its sequels by EzzyB.
The second story in that series won the 2025 Classic Clitorides.
As I recall Lucky Tickets and Lucky Stiff by JiMC has some music in it. It's been a long time since I read it.
Dance of a Life Time by Don Lockwood has ice dancers.
How about the Lady in Red series by https://storiesonline.net/a/Harddaysknight? For some reason he doesn't put them in as a series but there are three stories.

You need to grab reality in yer fist, scrunch it up into a ball and throw it out the nearest window before you even attempt reading the Lady in red stories, i read on as long as i did in pure disbelief at the garbage i was reading before sanity came back to me and i stopped

Same here, I stopped reading somewhere in Chapter 15 (of 33) of Book 1 and avoided the sequels and nearly all his other stories. (I read two short stories: Run For Your Life and Not a Second Time).
HM.

You can say that about most stories on this site.
I myself enjoyed reading them and have read them a number of times.
There is this whole category of stories known as 'escapist fiction.' One knows it is unrealistic and usually improbable, but makes a nice escape from reality and hopefully an enjoyable read.
I would say that a good proportion of the stories on these sites would fall into that category.
It is not clear to me what you are looking for.
There are stories that feature certain songs. For example, https://storiesonline.net/s/34697/california-dreamin, several of Don Lockwood's stories, and many others.
There are also stories about musicians, which others have recommended.
Similar questions have been asked here before.
https://storiesonline.net/s/48234/axe-victim is almost 20 years old, but still not premier-only.
https://storiesonline.net/s/41757/spirit-renewed is from 2004 and also not premier-only. It has a somewhat similar plot but is imho nothing like as good.
https://storiesonline.net/s/12087/street-find is totally different, and it works for me.
One I've just thought of.
Gonna sell the bitch's car by qhml1. Guess I know what I'm rereading next.
One of my favorites and damn it is one of the few stories that actually made my eyes water a bit when his wife died when they were children.

Several of the stories in that series have lots of music.
https://storiesonline.net/a/wolf/ has Road Trip where a man riding around the country after the death of his wife meets a country singer and ends up a country star. There's also 3 stories with the country singer called Crystal Clear.

It is usually not the main theme, but just about every Don Lockwood story has more than the odd mention of Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band.
Superb story, some of the characters are inherited from his "Perhaps Love" (which has nothing at all to do with music). I liked Perhaps Love but I loved Hatchery Road.
Can try https://storiesonline.net/s/28097/keeping-a-promise/4 Just reading it now. The music only starts in chapter 4. Do not know if the music goes more after chapter 4 but does seem to be something that continues. It seems the music is only in the forth chapter after all.
