Stories About Music

acc000unt ๐Ÿšซ

Looking for stories where the MC is a musician/plays in a band. Sex etc content doesn't really matter, tho I am a sucker for romance.
I got Opus One by Ryan Sylander and Rewind by Don Lockwood so far, so hit me :D

If you want Classical music you can't do better than https://storiesonline.net/s/48790/opus-one by Ryan Sylander.

For a story where music is absolutely central, try https://storiesonline.net/s/16034/hatchery-road by ShadowWriter. It re-uses some of the characters from his Perhaps Love but that one has more to do with surfing and supermodels than anything else.

For the story of a Rock band, the first three stories in https://storiesonline.net/universe/1226/the-knotty tell the story of a band called "Mow Cop", it is included as part of a main character's back story.

But Tinkerbell was in all the books as well as . . . Miss Bob Hope, don't remember her name. So there was music, just not as the main plotpoint.

Spirit Renewed by Heathen57 A rock star is feeling the stress of the road and feels like he is losing the spirit of his music. Through a series of events, he once again finds his center and another surprise.

Then there is the long story where the mmc plays the guitar and becomes (with his partner) Olympic ice dancers (Dance of a Lifetime by Frank Downey)

Did anyone already suggested https://storiesonline.net/series/1454/the-transmogrification-of-jacob-hopkins by Aroslav? That's a do-over in alternative history (with a harem), and the MC new body had played guitar... music may not be seen as exactly central, but is certainly very important to the story.

Although this series has an action/adventure focus, music becomes increasingly important to the characters in the later stories. Here's to memories of the creation of the "Lucky Lady Blues Band".

Wizard's series "The Trailer Park" has music as a major element is later stories, including the main characters going on a road trip to perform at music festivals over the summer. I think that the music elements start around "Third Year" or "Fourth Year," but I can't recall.

Note that: (a) this is a fairly long series, (b) it was posted before the under-14 rule and has lots of sex. and (c) even the series page has the stories out of order. Pay attention to posting date.

Also, at some point after the first story was written, Wizard borrowed a couple of characters from the Wynter series by Russell Hoisington, who was his friend and editor, so the two series have been merged. You can read just the Trailer Park stories without losing too much context:
