Re-Visiting hymens - How deep??

Justin Case 🚫

I want to start by directing anyone to google. This is an easy way to find images and descriptions of what you don't have any idea about.

To the subject…

I know there is an article somewhere about this, but I have to get this off my chest…

I don't 'laugh' any more when I see a story where our "hero" is in the process of deflowering a 'maiden' and insets his 'penis' 2" OR MORE into her before "coming against her barrier".

Either the metric system has retarded the ability of this generation to judge length and distance, or perhaps these young ladies are severely deformed.

Of the (insert a number evidently much larger than any of these authors' conquests) virgins that I have been with, I never EVER found one that possessed a hymen over 3/4 inch from the outer edges of her labia.
(and those were girls with VERY 'puffy lips')

Is it the lack of experience in the authors, or lack of knowledge, or lack of care for factual information ??

Or maybe it is perhaps that the lack of actual 'true' virgins in existence nowadays has ribbed these authors form ever having the TASK of piercing a hymen. (Shoulder shrug)
But that is a subject for future conversations and explorations.

Any way… I just find it completely ruins the story when an author spends time describing in detail the moment a guy "sinks Three inches" into an un-plundered female before 'hitting the wall' so often.

It makes me literally wonder if I'm reading a story written by a little virgin 10 year old sitting in mom's basement typing who has never even SEEN a naked vagina in person before.
And that kills the vibe completely.

All the above was my non-concise way of making a plea to ALL authors…
Learn some simple anatomy !!!
GOOGLE has medical book illustrations if you need them.
If you don't know what you are writing about, don't write about it.

It's a long running trope almost. Lazeez has an article about it:

Perhaps it's not the hymen but some other obstruction such as a GI Joe.

Perhaps their target audience is other 10 year old virgins. Many erotic stories, if not most, contain gross exaggerations.

If you don't know what you are writing about, don't write about it.

If authors weren't allowed to tackle the unknown, fiction would be very boring. Perhaps better advice would be that if a typical reader in the target audience would know something or could easily verify it, the author should verify it for themselves.

And boring to write. I forget who the famous author is, but they said the advice to "Write what you know" is wrong. They said write what you don't know. But research it so you learn something new.

What exaggerations? There are very few stories with men who have more than the average 9-10" penis.

Also the pain. Penetration can be painful for many reasons, but the hymen itself isn't one.

but the hymen itself isn't one.

I doubt that is true.

The hymen is body tissue and it has nerves that can generate and send pain and other signals to the brain. Penetration tears the hymen and that generally results in a degree of pain or discomfort being experienced by the woman.

Hopefully, they are at least 14. Isn't the rule that no one under 14 can be involved with the sex in these stories?

no one under 14

That applies to the characters in the story.

There is nothing stopping an underage person from accessing SOL by claiming they are over 18 YO. Once they are a member, they can write and post stories.

I ignore emoji symbols because they mean different things to different people. I have no idea what is going on in some person's mind when they add an emoji.

The only way the statement about hitting an obstruction two inches into the vagina is that of having passed the actual hymen and it still being intact enough to offer a constricting obstruction. Some women are able to insert tampons for example whilst still having an "intact" hymen.

Next, let's discuss the idea of a penis penetrating the cervix!!

@Finbar_Saunders

Next, let's discuss the idea of a penis penetrating the cervix!!

From WebMD (a reliable medical source):

It's not possible for a penis, finger, or similarly shaped object to penetrate the cervix.

The cervix is the neck of the uterus, located at the top of the vagina. It has a small opening to allow semen to enter the uterus and to allow menstrual blood to leave the uterus. The opening is tiny and normally closed with mucus. So the cervix may be touched during sex, but it cannot be penetrated.

Ok, next topic.

I vaguely remember an article about girls working in the west coast sex industry deliberately having procedures to open their cervices to permit penile penetration.

I haven't heard anything recently so I expect they all died from nasty diseases. The cervix is tight (except during childbirth) for a good reason.

I seem to recall some story where 'penetrating the cervix' was a recurring plot point. If I recall correctly, there was reason to believe biology was different/altered enough to allow that.

It always struck me as an odd fetish. That's taking 'size matters' to a new level of silly.

awnlee_jawking 🚫

@Grey Wolf

'Meeting an Alien' by Duncan Mickloud matches that description.

Although it's not that common a kink (at least in the stories I've read), I wonder whether 'cervical penetration' might be worthy of its own tag.

36 SOL stories contain "penetrated her cervix".

Why propagate the myth?

Because it floats some readers' boats?

IMO it's no more mythological than some of the other tags.

Wasn't that one, at least, but thanks. Maybe one of the other 36.

Searching confirms it was 'Three Square Meals' (also, Dominion's Son called it, even before I found it). There's even a mention of that being something that shouldn't happen, but a major plot element of that story is the women being changed (at, most likely, the genetic level), so anything possible when you have that. They're not really human per se, so all bets are off.

And it's a story with definite 'size matters' issues. I'm not really sure how the protagonist was able to sit comfortably, for instance. Sometimes too much of a good thing is not at all a good thing.

Years ago, there was a friend of a friend of friend's sister, who interned with the emergency trauma center. One set of his go to tales was, of a man with the supposedly largest penis in the country (of two million). Both he and his partners were regular clients. I don't remember particular details, but it was all very gross.

In the case of Three Square Meals' protagonist, he is described as having four balls, each the size of an orange. That seems... problematic.

Wait, the hymen is real? I thought it was a metaphor for breaking down a woman's mental barrier about losing her virginity in a special way.

Wait, does this mean the clit is real?

This topic always makes me think of the Bee Gees' song, "How Deep is Your Love?", particularly, a small section of their chorus.

How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down

And this leads me to having to listen to their entire song, like I'm about to do right now.

So if the guy eats her before he fucks her, the product won't be effective?

If he did that she wouldn't need it in the first place. The kind of guy who wants physical proof of virginity in this way generally isn't thinking about his wife's sexual pleasure.
