Are there any stories that take place in britain? bonus if the mc is american or if theres a harem.
No harem? John ends up with at least five 'wives' plus the Gorgon females he bangs once a year. The harem is just slow to develop.

Tedbiker's stories are set in the UK, but are mercifully American-free ;-)

Been a few questions in this vein recently ... ;)
This is really what you want to search for, right? There's a harem tag. Most MCs are American men. Just start reading :)
But a lot of those aren't set in britain and quite a lot aren't good. thats why i asked for reccomendations.
Magician (and, I believe, Mage) by QM are largely based in britain, but travel. MC is definitely a limey, except women actually find him attractive. And he eventually develops a harem.
The stories of Tedbiker, Marc Nobbs, and moghal are definitely set in the UK (a number are technically in Wales rather than england) Scotland-the-Brave has a number set in Scotland, with one series featuring a Scots lad in the US. The time travel story Magestic is again based out of britain, with the narrating character actually being the sidekick of the actual main character (who actually did the time travel). Again, the characters travel the world.
There was a series with another limey MC who collected a number of wealthy but not very attractive women and found a loophole to 'marry' all of them without legal difficulty (and then later expanded the harem with some more attractive women) although I can't recall the author. Think the MC was named Reginald?

Gordon Johnson is the author, 'Reginald' is the series name.

Typical American, overpaid, oversexed and over here.
Typical American, overpaid, oversexed and over here.
Brits, "underpaid, undersexed and under Eisenhower".
Other variants also appeared at the time, for example "oversexed, overpaid and overbearing".

I've never read his work. I don't know why.
Another excellent archived British author is Smilodon.

Another all-brit, non-harem would be Big guy on a bike's Hard Winter. At least, I think it's non-harem - it's a long while since I've read it, just like for Magician. Since it's set fairly locally, I know most of the locales mentioned.
Someone else might remember... I recall most of tedbiker's stories revolved around sailing/boating. Thus I'm pretty sure it was someone else who wrote a number of stories revolving around MCs who rode BSAs and Nortons and Triumphs mostly. Usually in the UK.
