I wish I could have. AZ has a law that it illegal to set off fireworks that either explode or launch in the air. Last night I thought I was in the middle of a war zone. There were several that hit my bedroom window. This was after the Phoenix PD announced that they were having an increased patrol to stop the noise.
Last year there were 2 houses that burned down from fireworks. One of those was where a large rocket fell over after it was lit and flew across the street and went off on top of a gas can in their neighbor's carport. Fortunately they were home and were able to evacuate with their dogs before the house burned down with one of their cars.
