I've been reading stories on here and the other site for awhile, have my favorites, and those I read more casually… Lately it feels like all the authors I read are no longer writing or have really slowed down their output. I know what happened with JayCantrell but I don't see anything new from Todd172, Oshaw, Laptopwriter, Norafares, msCherylterra, and I don't see blackrandi organizing as many events as they used to.
Am I being alarmist (probably) or did they find other places to post?
Your thread heading is a little miss-leading. Yes, some authors have moved on, both in existence and in writing, but not all of them.
Every year, some authors will leave here permanently and some will arrive, to become someone's new favourite author. It's a process that needs not be feared, but celebrated.
blackrandi had some kind of major argument with Laz and that was that, no idea what it was about though.
CherylTerra decided to have her own site (under that name) and pulled all her stories from here.
I'd like to see something new from Todd_d172 as well, no idea what happened there.
