Finally! Bonnie Princess Charlene has been in the works for almost 2 years. I never post until a story is complete and edited and proof read - you get the idea - finished. Thanks to many helpful folks, incomplete ideas, typos, and other assorted errors have been sanded out. I owe, and anyone reading this story owes, many thanks to Annemouse, burka_oz, Jim7, Steve, Han Jansz van Meeg, fred daddio, Gary Bywater, and Lou (Especially Lou).
The first chapter is in the queue to post September 1st and the following chapters each Friday and Sunday until the story has finished. Comments are very welcome. Please note that I will be on a cruise for the latter half of the month, and the ship's Mrs. Grundy will not allow me to access SoL, so my responses will be delayed.
BPC is a stand alone, but some characters from Pēteris and Monica Mechanic have minor parts.
Why the title? Some years ago I was on a tour in Scotland and visited the grave of Flora MacDonald - the heroine who smuggled Bonnie Prince Charlie Stuart to safety. That sparked an idea, which the above cited folks helped me bring to life.
