Okay, lemme try to bring everyone up to date.
First.
I began writing this story mainly because I wanted to see if I could. I can, and if I really wanted to try, I could monetize this and really maybe earn several dollars a year, calling myself an author.
Second.
I understand that many have joined me on this journey. I thank all of you. I mean, that is why I spend nearly all my free time working on making this story the best I possibly can. I'm not a real author, whatever that might be, but I am trying to teach myself how to become one. I understand that criticism comes with the territory. Laz created a usable means for authors to receive that criticism. Some of it hurts. But the vast majority is good, and in many cases, great!
But others use these tools to simply throw stones at those of us who are, rather than try on their own. Fine. But when your vitriol becomes aimed at others who are on the journey. I can't stand by while that happens.
I decided to block someone I know has been reading along almost since the beginning because he was targeting others who were simply trying to defend me. I might keep that block permanent, I may not. I honestly don't know. I can be convinced to overturn it.
But maybe having some of you sit quietly in the corner while the rest of us enjoy the ride will help you learn to focus a little better and send the notes properly, rather than haphazardly.
Okay, that's been my time. I'm going back to see how Tim and his teammates are going to celebrate their state championship. Some of us will no longer be there. And unfortunately, they'll have to figure out a new way to find out how Tim was able to successfully help defend the world versus the alien occupiers... oh wait, did I write that out loud?
Tee hee.
