A Lil' Bit o' Motivation

Posted at

So I did it again. I stayed up all night rereading a story from the past, and it has once again given me the proper amount of inspiration to continue writing rather than taking the weekend off to be with the family. But it's all cool since the wifey said she didn't feel like schlepping over to the grandkids anyway.

Woo hoo! But I'll have to do something nice for her, like I guess I'll have to throw her a little pickle tickle tonight. Tee hee.

Okay, enough of all that. The reason for this update. The real motivation that hit late last night, whilst downloading the varied gig o' MILF porn, I tripped across the download count of Mayhem in a Pill, since I had not been focusing on it too much recently. Lo and behold, we're approximately 500 downloads short of reaching a fairly significant milestone of 1.3 million total downloads for the entire story.

In theory, we could reach that goal in a week with the story as written. Or I could get off my fat ass, post the next chapter, and crush that goal in an hour or so! Not really doable, but a nice thought. 1.3 million. Not too shabby, if you ask me!

That's a whole lawt of words being written by me, and read by you people from all over the world. It's a bit awe-inspiring. I like to think my audience here on Storiesonline is a bit above the world's average in intelligence, so I kinda feel bad about me being responsible for keeping our collective intelligence away from working on real problems and transfixed on a former fat kid living a high school dream as a sports super hero!

So... long story short. I'm a writing today rather than leaving the Chateau de' Shiner to see the kids' kids. Woo hoo! Double win for me and especially for all of you lovely people who've pushed the download counter to nearly 1.3 million reads.

Sincerely, thanks.

I hope to keep the story interesting enough for you guys to continue on this journey with me. Even if some of you don't like it, and continue reading it anyway. Maybe I'm slowly becoming the new Howard Stern! Eww, no thank you. I had long hair for like a year early on in middle school. I didn't like it, but I was rebelling, so I chose that as the battlefield. Damn, I used to be dumb.

Oh well, back to the word processor!
