Another new story

Okay. Don't tell my doctor but I didn't keep my arm in the sling the entire six weeks. After a while I was able to rest the forearm on the desk and type with that hand, a little. So I was able to write more than I thought I would. And now I'm all better and back to normal, for the most part.

While I was laid up I wrote several versions of an interracial theme with a young black man and older white woman. Blacking the Widow was one and I'm starting to post another one today. It is called The Breeding of Jill Pastrianni and it is nine chapters long. I'm dropping the first two chapters today and I'll get it all up this week. If you're impatient, the whole book is over at Bookapy (or will be if it is accepted).

I got another book done while I was injured, and it's much longer, at 30 chapters. Michelle has that now and when she sends it back I'll fire it off to Andy. He has more to do than play with my books, so it's likely that one won't get posted and published until September, or maybe even later.

I want to thank everybody for the kind notes you sent and your patience with me when I get "in the groove" with a certain kind of story line. I'm probably finished writing intentional interracial stories for a while. Of course I never know where a story is going to go when I start it. For someone who can shoot a five inch group at a hundred yards, my "aim" when I start a story is laughable. I get on paper, but then I have to add more paper.

For those of you who aren't gun people, what I just said is that when I start a story it is headed for abc and then, often ends up at xyz.

As always, thanks for reading.
Bob
