Okay, I get it. Some of you don't like things that don't go your way. You enjoy attacking someone telling a story they feel others may like. I don't see many of your writings for me to peruse and abuse.
I know, as a writer, you are supposed to have tough skin; believe me, I have tough skin. But damn, I do this for fun. I'm not getting paid. I'm even giving up valuable MILF porn-hunting time to do this for y'all. But what do I get?
Ugh. Take a breath, Shiner.

Crap. I don't even feel like picking up a cold one to help lift my spirits.
It goes from several people liking the story and coming along with me for an adventure to find out where it is going. Believe me. It is going somewhere. To people listing things they hate about a story that is updated periodically and they are reading off the internet for free. If they are still reading, then I figure the story meant something to them, but now their pet peeves are keeping them from enjoying something that I, for one, am damn proud of.
I've kept a list of people who reacted negatively to the story and have not, in my opinion, given a real reason for doing so. And I understand if they have legitimate reasons for not liking certain aspects of the story. But the legitimate reasons are becoming few and far between, in my humble opinion. And when it comes to this story, the first one I've ever allowed others to read... (Take another breath, Shiner)
I digress.
I hate it when these opinions come out of the left field. You don't like one part of the story. Fine. Don't read it. I'm pretty sure I will go a lot more in-depth to let you know if there will be a bump in the road.
I write blogs like this one. I write notes at the beginning of the chapter, like this most recent chapter. I've only read a few stories that try to keep you up-to-date on what is about to happen in the story. I openly thank BarneyR and his great story "Bob's Great Adventure for giving me the initial idea of warning the reader of something upcoming that might set off squicks in some readers. He ain't the only one, but he's the first one off the top of my head.
But I digress once again. Gotta get back on track.
I ain't giving up. I have more stories to tell, and yes, I know some... well, oftentimes, the time between chapters is a little too long. But if you want me to speed it up, then pay my mortgage, and I'll quit my job to work full time on this. Hell, I'll even name a character in the story after you.
Again, I ain't gonna quit. I ain't turning off the comments. And I ain't turning off the voting. Because if I had done that, then I would have quit.
But if you don't like that, ask for a refund for the money you spent reading my story.
