The new story, "...If I got hung over....", is a thought experiment. (after a fashion, I suppose all my stories are). It ties into my previous blog post, as it features a young lady from my workplace. It is strictly fantasy, first because she has her own little family, and any move on my part to enact my dreamworld in reality, would present a severe threat to her and the people in her circle. Bad Ju-ju.
Then, there is the fact that The Longsuffering Wife, is a better shot than I and would look, to say the least, unfavorably, upon such adventures on my part.
So, when I am imagining a story, and pondering plot twists or how a particular difficulty might be credibly worked out, I will be confronted, from time to time, with the dissonance between my dreamworld, and the real world in which I labor. And, in which cute young women do not find themselves compelled to engage me in romantic interludes.
Fascinating stuff, eh-whot?
