For those of you who've read more than one of my stories, I'm sure you've noticed that I've tried different writing techniques and styles - alongside some of my whacked out plots. For example, my first story, The Times..., was written in the first person, all the rest in third.
In Monica, I've switched names from Monica to Monty and back to indicate changes in persona. One reader wrote to say that the switch in names didn't bother, but the switch in pronouns did. As I wrote, I wrestled with this and changed several times. If anyone has thoughts on this, I'd like to know them. It is doubtful that I would use this again, but who knows?
