This short story occurs just after Jurassic B&B, so if you've been following 'Time Enough to Dream', it may seem confusing, as some of the characters in 'Interlude' have exited the current story. Just back up the time track of 'Time Enough to Dream' about 6 months and imagine none of that has happened yet, and you'll be okay - I hope.
