If you want the updated collected works with the fixed Bayan Na and the new The Ark included, give me your email address and each will be sent 24 hours separating Volume One and Volume Two so that those with limitations on their inboxes can clear the first out before receiving the second.

The next novel

I expect to publish my new novel, The Ark, before the end of February, on the ASSTR website. It will be published there in all formats (PDF, ePub, mobi, azw3 and HTML) simultaneously. For the truest read of the novel, as it was created, the PDF is the only answer. All the other formats are conversions. However it is worth noting that the HTML conversion may be the most useful, though none of the conversions are fully faithful to the original. The novel will not be included in my collected works for a few months until I am confident most of the errors have been excised from the text.

As to how long ASSTR remains on-line, it is anyone's guess.

Once again for a variety of reasons, both technical and legal, the novel cannot be published here. I wish that it was not the case as I would love to post it here. I suspect our host here, at least partially, shares my sentiment, but on the legal end his hands are tied. On the technical end, my text remains outside the formatting provisions of this site.

Child marriage in the Philippines.

Here's another real world example of how what I write about is not fantasy, but the truth. The stories are fiction; but they are based on the underlying reality of life on these islands. And so I give you today's headline.

Fifteen percent of Filipino girls were married before their 18th birthday, and 2 percent of girls married before the age of 15. And for you math impaired, that's one out of every fifty is married at fourteen or younger.
