In typical hobby-based activities, my enthusiasm wanes and disappears when life intrudes, and I grow too busy. And then when you get back to it, you remember how much fun you had, but you wonder, why am I publishing and sharing, because, I do this for me, my hobby, and then...someone comments, even comments about something that I missed, or didn't explain well enough, and something inside me, clicks, grows (maybe my heart grew two sizes that day), and it all makes sense. That sense of connection helps so much.
So with that in mind, I plan to give out points for those who comment, directly or on the story. 1 point for every word. Now, I don't have time to keep track of the points, nor do I know what the points are used for (think video games, the old school type that had points because, well, points rock), but you will get points... remember, one point per word, good or bad, comprehensible or incomprehensible.
I have increased the publishing for Neighbor Needs Help to twice a week. Everything is written, just in the proofing stages (massive thanks to Mark and Daniel for editing and beta reading). Which leads me to my question - the shorter chapters make writing, reading, and editing much, much easier, which, for a hobbyist, helps, but as a reader, What do you think? Too short, too much time between chapters, should I wait and publish all at once?
Other In Progress:
Instructional (a Polly adventure with Zer's best friend)
New Devil at School (stand-alone, new person arrives at school, just a fun teenage romp)
Death of Tyler - partially written, finding this story harder to write, because it's a murder mystery, my first, and well, plotting and everything... (first chapters written and beta read, but looking like 20 chapters so far, but that's just the outline, it will likely grow)
Dead Testing (what Polly, Jennifer, and Cindy must endure for graduation)
Zer's Job (working title - happens right after Neighor Need Help)
Polly's Job (working title - happens right after Polly finishes school)
Jen Hell (working title - happens in the future with Jen)
Short Stories (fun little stroke stories):
Gretchen Does Everything (title says it all)
How to Lose Weight (Polly does a video to capture the housewife market)
Willow, a hulk, and Megan, a dead, F-U-C-King
Longer Future Stories
Magic of Belief (Polly in her future job)
What is God (a one-off story that advances the overall plot of the universe)
Finished with Links and notes:
Zer's Stories
Neighbor Needs Help: Zer, Polly's sister, hurts then helps her neighbor, and blooms.
Polly's Stories
A Challenging Day: Polona takes up the double fill challenge, two objects inserted without orgasm for a full twelve hours. She needs all of her gifts to survive the challenge and her fans' second challenge.
Randy, A Dog, Exposed: To expose her sister’s cheating boyfriend, Polona recruits Cynthia to seduce Randy, which works, and in the process, they discover Randy’s submissive nature. Insight into Polly and Zer's sisterly relationship.
Roshana Gets Popular: Roshana begs and gets her wish of filming with Polona. In the process, she learns something amazing about herself. Just a fun adventure.
The Final Fight Begins (Polona's graduation fight): Goes into the brutal side of the school and Polly's deviousness.
Jennifer's Stories
Jennifer Gets in Trouble: Jennifer and Cindy get sent to the principal's office, but while Cindy stays to deal with the principal, Jennifer leaves and has an unexpected confrontation with a teacher, in the teacher's washroom.
Stories that add color to the universe:
Jealous Much (A short scene from school)
Hallowen Tradition: A short horror story, no sex, set in the unleashed world to give context to the world.
Halloween in the Bunker: A short horror story that acts as a prelude to The Bunker.
Unleashed (Not AI written - Positive or Negative?):

Book 2 - Growing Up More - Finished. I do have a few sections and chapters written for book 3, but not sure when I will get to that (Tempted to release as short stories :)
Thank you all for reading. Turning my attention to the Unleashed World, and of course, more one-offs.
I appreciated feedback and comments, good, bad, and indifferent.
.
I love Halloween, so I wrote way too many stories for the contest, but because I can only submit one, I just published the others :) I didn't submit the best one, just the one I had the most fun writing, and since the total earnings from all the hours of writing amount to about $2.00, which, surprise, too low to get paid out, means that in theory I make around 0.0000000001 cent per hour, I figure I would enjoy the process.
I have too many stories on the go it seems, and now that I have published all the Halloween stories, I hope to finish Growing Up More (which may encompass more than twenty chapters) and finish more of the Unleashed stories.
Cheers,
