Melissa is proceeding and while I have not had a lot of feedback, what I have had is positive, so thank you. But while checking my email, I noticed one in spam, which consisted wholly of a link. This happens from time to time, and I NEVER open the link unless there is a valid and convincing covering comment, and the sender is known to me. (That includes readers - I may never have met you, but I often feel I know you)
So please, folks, no unexplained links. Humour - great! Most welcome. Suggestions for other stories I might like, definitely. Your stories about your experiences when they parallel my tales, wonderful!
But most of all, your feelings about my writing.
Thanks.
Ted
Editorial consensus is 'Melissa' is the appropriate title. First chapter is in the queue... enjoy!
My latest is in the hands of editor/proofreaders. I probably won't appear under the title 'Melissa', though.
I've just got chapter 7 back from Jerry and Chapter 8 is begun. It's taken a different turn and my protagonist is going to face a choice at some point. My apologies if you're waiting on tenterhooks for posting, but it's not going to happen for quite a while yet.
I know - it's been quite a while. My current effort, 'Melissa', is into chapter five and proceeding very slowly. Having read Oyster's blog recently, I've formed the idea that sometimes Muses go off on holiday, or perhaps to a convention of muses? I think mine must have taken off on a round-the-world voyage. It's not that I don't have ideas; I have several draft first chapters including a sequel to 'Zoe' and another 'Dryad' episode. I just don't seem to have much motivation to write. Sorry. I would say, by the way, that the best motivation to write is feedback... so if you're waiting for a favourite author to post - write to him (or her).
