I know - it's been quite a while. My current effort, 'Melissa', is into chapter five and proceeding very slowly. Having read Oyster's blog recently, I've formed the idea that sometimes Muses go off on holiday, or perhaps to a convention of muses? I think mine must have taken off on a round-the-world voyage. It's not that I don't have ideas; I have several draft first chapters including a sequel to 'Zoe' and another 'Dryad' episode. I just don't seem to have much motivation to write. Sorry. I would say, by the way, that the best motivation to write is feedback... so if you're waiting for a favourite author to post - write to him (or her).
Sorry it's been so long coming, but I'm intending to post the first chapter tomorrow, Tuesday. It deals with Denise and Joe's honeymoon cruise, skipped over in 'Grumpy Old Man'. The first chapter is actually reintroducing Nadiya and CC from 'Pippa' who take an important part in the tale.
Enjoy.

Well, I've got to chapter six and I'm near to the conclusion... though there's going to have to be another Chronicle to sort out all the loose ends that don't fit in Denise and Joe's... honeymoon cruise. Unfortunately... my laptop is suffering from hinge problems. It's in dock. Sorry, folks.
Anybody any ideas why my friend's laptop running Vista won't let me run Libre Office?

It's summer, and here in England we're actually having one. The weather is a little unsettled at the moment, but we've had some (for us) quite hot days. Summer was supposed to be the time I worked on the house and I have mostly prepared a new wooden gutter to go up but with one thing or another I haven't got very far.
I have managed to get some work done on Honeymoon Cruise, which is taking a slightly different direction than I originally intended. I'm into chapter 4 now and Denise has decided she likes sailing, but they're heading into some bad weather. Will she be sea-sick? We'll see.
Anyway, I'm trying to tackle my spreading waistline before it gets out of control, by daily five to six mile walks and dietary intake control (mainly limiting what I nibble as I drink my coffee). Of course, while walking I can't write, but I can plan. And next week when the summer resit exams begin I won't be doing much writing either, but I'll try to get something finished by the end of August.
Anyway, thank you all for your interest and encouragement. Bless you!
Ted
Chapter one is in the queue. As usual, chapters to be posted every other day and voting will be allowed when chapter 4 is submitted.
