The first of two chapters is in the queue for a second 'Devastation Diary'. Second and final chapter on Sunday.

I've been considering revisiting the universe of Auction and have designated a series, 'Devastation Diaries', though at the moment, there is only Auction in it. However, having hit a brick wall with my current project, I've embarked on 'The Heir', which will be two chapters in the 'Devastation' series. The first chapter is with Jerry and Mike - or, at least, in cyber space on its way to them. I'll be back! (Often wanted to use that line)

I was looking at my stats today and realised it's five years since I posted on SoL for the first time. My first posting is no longer up, as it was an incomplete beginning to 'A New Life', but anyway it is five years and now a total of sixty-nine stories. I've slowed down a lot as you've probably noticed, but against that I hope the quality is on the way up if only because of skilled editing and proof-reading by some combination of Jerry, Mike, Roger and Dave T, for which I am duly grateful!
I appreciate that five years is nothing compared to some authors but it does seem amazing in the 'where has the time gone?' sense.
Anyway - thank you, readers, for downloading and reading, especially if you've taken the time to vote and comment.
I am still writing, though it may be a while before I'm able to post anything new.

Thanks to the many responses to my last blog. Far the majority opinion is that 'finished and posted frequently' is the preference, so I'll carry on as before.
