This Dulcie story has been up for quite some time, but a reader pointed out a continuity error which I, my editors and, presumably every other reader missed. Simply, Emma and Rosie could not have prayed for Dulcie in chapter 1 because they hadn't yet been introduced to the Rectory. I have posted an alternaltive chapter one (or, at least, submitted it for posting)
It's over four years since I heard from Brian, and I miss his imaginative writing. Does anyone have news of him?

Whether about now you celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth - as prophet or Son of God - or the turning of the Year, or Channukah, or whatever, I wish you all every blessing for the New Year.
To my fellow authors, Thank you for the pleasure you've given. To my readers, Thank you for reading... especially if you took the time to comment!
I will continue to write, if slowly. Please be patient...

A new short story. Having overcome my inertia for a few days, here is a little offering - I hope you enjoy it.
I always try to respond to feedback, if only with a 'thank you'. Of course, if it's 'anon' there's not much I can do. But sometimes my responses are bounced back as undeliverable, presumably due to the address being no longer valid. Chris, thanks for your feedback, and please update your address!
