A new story, begun before Christmas and interrupted by Christmas with Kat and Beauty, is in the posting queue. This is a sailing story with a twist. Hope you enjoy it!

Forty years or more ago - I don't remember exactly - I was in a city-centre pub, on my own, drinking a pint of beer. My wife was out of town for some reason. Anyway, I was approached by a woman a little older than myself, quite attractive, who propositioned me. It was quite a subtle thing, at first anyway, and I was a bit innocent (yes, I really was, once). Feeling a bit lonely, and sorry for her too, I gave her some money to spend time with me. No, we didn't have sex. Just chatted. But the memory surfaced recently and inspired the short story 'Beauty' which I will be posting when Jerry and Peter have had their way with it.
The story bears little resemblance to what happened then, other than the initial encounter, but if I hadn't been married, who knows? It was a little tempting.

I started writing a short 'Kat Magic' story for Christmas, but somehow got held up. As a result, it's in the posting queue now, a mere three weeks late. I hope I may be forgiven and my loyal readers will enjoy it anyway. Without spoiling it, I'll just say it begs a further story to deal with a new character and that will be forthcoming in due course.
