Uploading Chapter 3 - A True History

It was included as a question, which I answered.

Cal Lewis is not short for Carl. Think and say Cal L ...

And yes, I really do use the phrase, faster than a speeding bullet in this chapter, in context even. This has been a fun story for me.

Chapter 2 uploaded

The second chapter is uploaded for posting, and I've also uploaded some minor corrections to Chapter 1. Hope you all like it. My posting schedule for this is going to be a little odd, because I am still working, but they're weird hours and shifts. So you may see three chapters in one week, one the next, but it should average out two per week.

And since I mention Marvel comics in this chapter - there is no DC Comics in this alternate universe, Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson died in WWI.

Slight goof on my part

In case you're wondering why the story changed titles ...

I screwed up. It is supposed to be in sections, and I didn't get those done right.

Carry on. Also, thanks for the comments and mail.

Starting to post a new story

I'm having a bit of nerve damage due to degenerative disk disease. I'm still quite young and otherwise healthy. I've got 27 chapters complete to my new story, with the first several completely back from editing. I was planning on finishing the whole thing before starting to post, but with what's going on in the world, I figure some of you would rather have something else to read, too.

That doesn't mean there won't still be mistakes, because I do tend to look through things. This is a different kind of coming of age story, with more sex in it than normal for me. Still not a stroke story, although I can honestly say that certain scenes left me rather aroused. And other scenes had me crying.

It should be in the queue in a little bit. I hope you enjoy 'A True History - Arrival'.

Re-editing new story

In case anyone wonders how things can go when writing -

What I thought was a throwaway line from Chapter Two has now become a major sub-plot in Chapter Twenty-Four, that's going to have assorted repercussions for quite a while.

First 15 chapters are through the second edit, one more edit to go. I've had to go back and fix a couple of issues, courtesy of other throw-away things. (Never mention a character has a pet unless you really mean it - you may have to add said pet in again, when you realize your editor points out - "what happened to the cat?" - and you go, aw, crap. :)
