My laptop fried last Friday.
Everything was backed up and it was not a huge surprise to me so I didnt panic.
My new Lappy was supposed to arrive between the 27th and the 30th.
Guess again. Not shipped.
Amazon shunted me off to the distributer and washed their hands of the whole thing.
Now I get to wait until Monday or so for the email reply, then wait more for them to get their heads out of their asses.

Another lovely day in Shad-ville...

My house is stabilized. My brain isn't.

I have started editing my stories again, which is a very good sign. But I still need time before I am settled enough to start writing again.

Hopefully, that too will come soon as my new home situation is helping my body and mind ease it's tension.

I get the keys to my new house tomorrow noonish.

Remove carpeting, then paint.

Then I can start moving in.

As for new stories, I have one out to the cleaners.
He hit a personal snag and delayed returning it by a bit.
Which is not bad for me, since I have a ton to do on the new place.

I'll try to start posting at the end of next month according to the current schedule...
