I was told this story was not commercially viable. I was told it mixed too many genres, that men wouldn't like because of the romance angle and females were not that big onto Science Fiction. I completed this story about 2008 or so. I edited for over a year and on rewrite. I'm sure I still missed things it was pointed out the day of Sean's birth was 1983. This should not have made it past editing, but it did. I put a lot of myself into the writing of this story. It took years to write one weekend at a time working full time and being a parent, which left little room for a hobby, even less for a crazy story. But I finished it. Only to be rejected, a lot. I finally broke down and self published on nook, and Barnes and Nobles. It's sold one copy since 2009. (I'm not complaining just giving a back story) I am positively thrilled by the kind words that I've received here. I've lurked in corners for about 2 years on SOL if been a paid member for the year. I've read many inspirational authors like cmix, Richard the third, ravenscroft and others. I decided to test the theory of how my work would be received. Too be honest I didn't expect much. I figured that maybe 100 people total would read my story. Well you kind people have exceeded that expectation. And showed me through kind words that this is a very great place to write for. I have another story I'm going to post. It's also old.it's also Very different from SoFE universe. Which I do plan on coming back to. I had the first couple of chapters written and then my computer died. I had it saved on a thumb drive, than the thumb drive died. Just as I was getting back in the groove Hurricane Harvey hit. We lost our house and everything in it. So give me a little bit of time And I'll get back to Sean and Brooke I'm working currently on a story that has been banging around in my head that needs to get out. I hope to have it done within the next 3 to 6 months after I get the 1st 5 or so chapters I'll start posting one online every couple of weeks and try turning this into a serial. We'll see how that goes hopefully I won't disappoint you and you'll enjoy that story is well
