Dear Readers,

I am still active, and since finishing the HPL trilogy last year, I have been quietly working on another story set at the Wexford Conservatory. Progress has been slower than I'd hoped, due to new work demands. However, it has also been fairly steady progress, so the draft continues to grow.

The novel will be called Four Seasons. It takes place during Richard, Sandra, and Emily's second year at Wexford. However, the book is not a sequel, as it mostly focuses on new characters. Of course, our trio from Opus One will be part of the story in significant ways, but we will move out of their heads and get into others, so to speak.

Far too early to predict a release date, as there is much to write. It will be a very large book, something like Shutter Release was, or maybe bigger.

Chapter 60 is the final chapter of Shutter Release and it will post tomorrow. On Thursday, I will post a set of 4 epilogues as a separate story. These are optional to read. The first epilogue is a fairly standard look at what happens to the characters down the road. If you're the type of reader who likes to end on a content chord of closure, then stop reading at the end of 'side 3', which is the first epilogue. The last three (sides 2 through 0) pull no punches and continue the philosophical trajectory of what this story was always about. Read at your own discretion!

The final stretch! Starting tomorrow, daily postings until SR is finished on May 1st. Then the series epilogues on May 2nd. Regarding said epilogues, they will be a separate story, and they are optional to read. When the time comes, please do read the description/caution note before jumping into them. Tomorrow, Part V: Silent Sea will start posting. It is 12 chapters long, and this will conclude the book and the HPL trilogy. I'll post a chapter just about every day from here on out.

There is a set of epilogues to the series, which will be posted as a separate story the day after SR is complete. These are optional, and to be read at your own risk, so to speak.
