Yes, the story has no resolution. That's because frankly I cannot see a resolution. Was there cheating? Yes, but it was part of the job. Does it matter? Of course. Does it matter to HER? Can a person who turns her tween child into a cold-blooded killer even know what love is? Doubtful. What happens with the newly-orphaned child? Can Jake climb out of the deep well of despair he's trapped now? So many questions, and no idea how to address them.

So, it's a dud. I wanted to remove the story as soon as I saw it published, but there is no removal option in the Authors dashboard.

I know the end may not be the one most people expected, but I think it's the right one.

Now I will continue with the second story.

Thanks by the feedback, everybody. I've been told the story is going too slow, that there is not enough sex.

Well, yes to both. It's going slow because the characters have too many things to say. And there is not enough sex scenes because, although it's an incest story, sex is not the focus. There will be some sex scenes, but only to advance the story.

BTW, I will wait to post the third story until one of the current two is finished.

I just got out of my last final of this week. I'm free until next week so I will finish chapter 5 and post it.

BTW, I have completed the first chapter of a third story. Should I post it or should I wait until finishing one of the two stories already started?

I decided to start a new story. Don't worry, the Circle story will be updated in 2 or 3 days. Then I have my finals week -European college- so I will probably wait until day 20th or so to post again.
