RIP to them both. Mr. Loaf died from covid and Anderson from Cancer. Loved them both as performers and I'll miss them
Was just submitted for posting. Pardon the lateness of it, but Rick's daughter was home on leave from basic Training, the holidays, and work took up more than the usual amount of time.
I do want to say that I changed directions a little bit on where this was headed and would like some input on how it sounds going forward.
Thanks for sticking with us...
It was pointed out to me (Rick) that chapter 23 had a few errors that I missed. Sorry about that. I re-read through the whole story again and fixed the few that I found.
Thanks to all that let me know what I missed...
Rick just submitted it for posting. We'd love to hear your opinions on this piece.
Thanks for sticking with us...
Rick here...
I took a look at Liz's chapter 23 this afternoon and wanted to give you an update. First, like she said, there are happy endings, and there are unhappy endings. I'm sure that there will be people that will not like the story, and that's cool. We'd love to hear what you didn't like about it. If you do like it, we'd love to hear about that as well.
Second, I know that there is no a, an, or the in the Russian language. Russian makes up for not having those participles (I think are what they're formally called) by using inflection and tone. However, I was stationed with a couple of former Ukrainian citizens who had gotten their citizenship and joined the US military. They were in the country long enough to pick up and use a, an, and the. So when you read a certain section of the story don't be surprised when you see it in the dialogue.
Third, as she said, this is the last chapter dealing with the Michaels clan and the FBI task force. The next couple of chapters will be all Hanna Symanski-related. If you have ideas, let's hear them...
As always, thank you for reading and we hope you enjoy her musings...
