Ok...

We're up to about 7k words now. I anticipate this chapter to be about 10k words long. I still have two scenes to write and then Rick will take a look and edit it for publishing. Unless some random act of life, or the grandson comes to visit, I'm planning on having it out by next weekend.

Chapter 2 of Eldest Son has been resubmitted and should be up tomorrow morning. As usual, if you see something we missed, drop us a line and let us know.

BTW... I did change the location of where the SBS marines from Dorset to RM Poole. If it's still wrong, please let us know.

Ok, chapter 1 has been resubmitted for publishing. Rick corrected some spelling errors and some tense issues. He also moved some paragraphs around and changed the wording so the story would make more sense. I'll be handling chapter 2 this weekend since hubs is working.

As usual, let us know what you think. Or if he or I missed something, we'd love to know about it.

First thing I want to do is apologize for not putting anything out for the last few months. It's been a rough but pretty awesome winter for Rick and me. Between his new job, dealing with college-age children, and our first grandchild, we haven't done much writing at all.

So Rick and I are going to go back through the Eldest Son chapters and correct the mistakes we've found. Hopefully, it will help with the writer's block and get the creative juices going again. I've gotten about 3k words down on paper, and hopefully, it will get things finished for chapter 25. Again, we're sorry for the lack of material, and thank you for sticking with us.
