The worst thing to feel during a prostate exam is two hands on your shoulders.
-
6.9 is something great, ruined by a period.
-
What's the difference between medium and rare?
5 inches is medium, and 8 is rare.
-
These are just my opinions and you know what opinions are worth. Take with a large handful of salt.

Below 5.5 - Focused on a rare fetish most people dislike or generally terrible writing, usually with many punctuation and spelling errors.
5.5 to 6 - Story has many errors or a plot which doesn't appeal to most people. Might be okay if it includes your favorite fetish.
6.1 to 6.7 - Has a reasonably good story line and a small mistake here or there. Usually worth a look.
6.8 to 7.9 - Great stuff, unless it contains something you are squicky about.
8 and above - Many excellent stories fouled by some which are too high-brow and overly fortified with 15-letter words to entertain mere mortals.
The portion with overly complex sentence structure and excessively pompous puffery may be small, but they irritate me so much I skip any story with a score over 8. Lugubriously, many writers don't consider the 95% of their readership who lack degrees in literature.
Writing 'down' to a difficulty level average college graduates can understand shouldn't be frowned upon, and 'Entertainment' shouldn't require a dictionary five times per sentence.

AuthorWench's blog post really hit the nail on the head -
"I can only write as much as my inspiration and free time allow. On a rare holiday weekend when the muses are working overtime, I might write forty pages. If I only have a couple of hours, I may only do a single page.
The other reason for short chapters is the 'New Story' and 'New Chapter' notices. If I posted 50 pages at a time, there would only be one message and not many people would see it.
Apologies that it may be inconvenient for readers, but that's how it goes. If it annoys you too much, maybe wait until there are 6 chapters and read them in one sitting?"
The Holiday Season is here, the perfect time to enjoy a sexy Christmas story or three. For a sweet and amusing time check out "Postponed at the North Pole" which is safe for teens, or the more adult-oriented "Ellie's Christmas Surprise."
If you're in the mood for something much naughtier but still nice, check out "Sherry's Christmas Wish" or the even kinkier story "Christmas Eve with Gloryhole Glenda."
I wish you and yours a Joyous Yuletide and a Happy New Year!
