I wish to apologize to all the Veterans who have served in the military, in their home country all around the world. The first message I posted for 11/11 mentioned the United States and Europe, without any specific country named. It was gently pointed out that November 11 is a day that is reserved all around the world, to honor and remember those who wore the uniform of their nation. I did not mean to ignore your service and brave efforts. Please forgive me.

Ladies and Gentlemen, November 11th is Veterans Day here in the United States, and also known as Armistice Day in Europe. A day first recognized to honor the brave people who fought in WWI, and eventually it was a day to honor all who have served in the military, especially those who served during a time of war.

To those of you who have served in the military (and I am told than less than 2% of Americans enlist), I offer my grateful thanks.

Happy Extra Hour Sunday! A lot of people make jokes about the whole "fall back" thing and resetting clocks. But there is something else that is very important to remember. Today, go open the hood of your car and reverse the battery cables. This will not only reset you clock in the car, but it allows you to switch the settings from A/C back to heater!
