Yesterday I posted a new verse, titled The Interstellar One-Night Stand. It was a bit of work, and when it was finished, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. The response so far has been positive, however, so I feel more comfortable about linking to it here.
BTW, years ago, for a time, I worked with a ufologist who insisted to me that alien abductions are real. I still don't think so, but this verse is for him.
I had not written anything of late until this afternoon, when I posted a new verse, titled Mistress, May I Come Now? Not that anyone needs to know, but this one is a good illustration of the virtue of persistence. The first version, which I discarded, wasn't bad, but it was kind of blah.
Anyway, I have two unfinished stories on this site, and I'll be getting back to both of them soon.
I've redone one of my earlier, more popular stories, titled Strip Shakespeare, and reposted it. Premise is the same, but, you know, it's better. If you've never read it, read it. If you have read it, read it again.
I have just posted a revised version of a story I wrote for the Halloween contest awhile back - Night of the Lesbian Zombies. (They do not eat brains.) It's never been very popular, but then few of my stories are, and there were some things about the earlier version that didn't satisfy me. Those of you who liked it might want to give it another look. And those of you who never read it - enter if you dare.
As always, I'm grateful for feedback.
Today is April 17, and here is a poem, called Rite of Spring, that mentions the date specifically. Perhaps some of you will see Kaitlyn today.
