I saw a recent Brandon Sanderson interview where he called writing a form of art. I won't go so far to call the smut I'm creating a work of art, but it definitely has some weirdness to it that makes it creatively difficult sometimes.
As such, that makes writing a weird thing, sometimes. I was struggling last night with how to proceed after the latest chapter I was working on, so I just said 'screw it' and went to bed.
Of course I couldn't sleep. I lay there and tossed and turned and over the course of an hour or so, most of an entire chapter formed in my head, with a few plot lines I had never considered before.
With the way my memory works these days, I finally decided to open up the laptop and at least jot down an outline. Instead, I wrote about 2500 words in an hour and finished up a new chapter.
Maybe I can figure out how to make it happen tomorrow night, as well. I guess we'll see.

I recently published the final serialized chapter of My Taboo Life, so it's out there complete for people to judge.
I'm fairly happy with the response, so far. It doesn't seem like it will get nearly as many downloads as Catching Alice or A Submissive Sibling, but it's also a different direction I took a chance on. It's dark, transgressive, and deals with large amounts of obsession.
As always, I like to start with one tone and then shift directions somewhere in the story, and the same holds true for this one. If you didn't like the first half of the book, the second half may appeal to you more.
Anyway, I sincerely appreciate the 8000+ downloads it's had so far, and hope to have my next serialization up very soon, which is the sequel to A Submissive Sibling.

Sorry for the delay in publishing the latest chapter of My Taboo Life. I was in Chicago most of the week visiting friends and didn't even fire up the laptop for several days.
This novel serialization is almost done, with only three chapters to go. I appreciate everyone that has read it and left feedback. This one was a little more dark and transgressive than my usual stories, but I'm happy with how it's been received so far.

If you haven't checked it out yet, I'm expecting to publish the sequel, which is called "Charlotte's Surrender" sometime in the next few weeks.

I want to give a big thanks to all my readers and followers who have kept up with my latest story, My Taboo Life.
With this latest chapter, we've turned the corner in this dark, twisted story, and Piper has finally admitted what she has done to her daughter. Now we'll get to see what the consequences will be.
I'm also hard at work on the sequel to "A Submissive Sibling", which has been my most popular book here on SOL so far. It's closing in on 100k words, and I hope to get it polished up and ready to go just as the final chapters of My Taboo Life are published.
