... so I have gifts for you.

First is a new book called Sister Swap: Wrong Side of the Tracks. It is a short four-chapter story that has almost no redeeming quality but naughty fun that I just put in the cue to post the first chapter.

As I promised my Advanced Readers, I sent out an email this morning telling them that there are 13 more chapters of A Better Man Book III. I've posted those chapters on my website for a FREE download.

In addition, the Amazon version (professionally edited to include reader feedback and more) of A Better Man II is on my site. It is called Busted Plays.

Finally, my editor, Bud Ugly, came up with an idea. Why not create a box set of books that are tied into the Stupid Boy and A Better Man series? These are characters that cross over. In the box set, there is an introduction to each book that includes how they are related. You can find this box set you can go to Bookapy or my website.

Due to my health issues and some major changes from the Advanced Reader to the SOL version, I will not be able to meet the end of August launch date. It looks like it will be sometime in November.

We take reader feedback seriously and one of the major issues they had was they felt the story ended too soon. They voiced a desire that it should have ended at either the end of the semester or New Year's, not the last football game. To solve that, we've pulled the first nine chapters from Better Man 4 and will be adding three to five chapters beyond that.

The issue is that with my hospital stays and recovery, I haven't been writing. The good news is the worst is behind me... not wanting to jinx it... so I think I can get the remaining chapters to my editors.

We follow a rigorous process to fix my books. It takes time for everyone to get a chance to read the chapters and make their corrections. Then I become the bottle kneck as I read everything one last time. The good news is that I'm old, so when I get it back it's like reading it for the first time. With all that in mind, I asked my lead editor to find out when it was realistic to implement the changes so we could get the book ready for SOL. That's where the November date was proposed.

Before I get swamped with messages, we will do everything we can to get done sooner.

I wanted to send out a quick note that I've been in and out of the hospital, which has affected my writing. I have a serious infection in my left foot, which looks like it is headed in the right direction.

I'm sharing this because it will delay some projects like the fourth Better Man book. The third book is complete and will start posting at the end of August. I just want everyone to be aware that my health will take priority right now.
