My new story "Where the Mountain Rises" is set to be posted this Friday. It's heavy on the theme of survival. That's all I'll say for now.
My new story is finished. It took me five months to write the draft; it took me ten times that amount of time to flesh it out, research facts, talk to experts, experience certain situations myself, and revise, revise, and revise. I hit a few roadblocks and detours, and the story took a few unexpected twists and turns. It took on a life of its own and didn't want to end too soon or with a whimper. I will begin posting it one chapter at a time each week in the New Year. For now, I'm going to relax and enjoy the Christmas holiday. I hope you had a Merry Christmas, too, and wish you a happy and healthy New Year.
On this beloved Independence Day, I salute those who have sacrificed much for the country's pride and values of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and to those who strive to make this country a success.
It was a wonderful 2018 reading a lot of talent, and I look forward to 2019 to many more amazing stories. Be healthy, prosperous and prolific!
