In the Spirit of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, I wish everyone a Happy 4th of July, as well as to those whose Independence Day is celebrated on a different date. Let Freedom ring from sea to shining sea and in the hearts of the True and the Brave.
As the saying goes, all things must come to an end. Chapter 30 of "Where the Mountain Rises" will be posted tomorrow. It is the final chapter. It was the most difficult chapter to write as I tried to strike a balance between my own projections and the expectations of my readers. The quantity of mail and feedback I have received so far has been phenomenal, and I want to thank everyone for your comments. Also, I want to thank SOL for their incredible platform giving me and others the opportunity to post our stories and share them with readers around the world.
So, I hope you enjoy the final chapter of this story and I look forward to your continued feedback. This is not my last story, and I intend to be back soon.
Now that everyone is urged and in some cases mandated to stay at home, reading SOL is the perfect way to get you through the day, or night, whichever makes you happy. With that said, I'm posting chapter 26 of "Where the Mountain Rises" earlier today.
Valentine's Day or the day of romantic love isn't a holiday, but is celebrated in so many countries and on so many different dates. Wherever you are today, remind yourself to give the person you love or are madly fond of a token of your respect and affection. For some loving inspiration, I urge you to read my story "Love and Courage."
For my faithful readers, I will be posting a bonus chapter later today. It's the shortest one among 30 chapters, but a turning point in the lives of our characters. Many more moments will occur affecting their situation; some are beneficial, others beastly, testing their ability to survive.
