I am amazed at the number of readers following my story and the encouraging comments they are sending me. To show everyone my appreciation, I have decided to anticipate posting Chapter 8.
New chapter is posted. Our cabin dwellers are no longer snow bound high on the mountain and must begin the real challenges of staying alive.
Sex is almost a "sine qua non" here on SOL. There are many excellent stories with no sexual content, not even indirect references. I have come to appreciate the work of those writers who weave sex into their stories but don't make it the central action or theme. I agree with many writers who adhere to the principle that sexual content should be appropriate to the story and not the story.
Chapter 4 of "Where the Mountain Rises," which will be posted tomorrow, is infused with sex in order to establish a relational base line among the three characters in their struggle to survive. I tried to avoid the temptation to go into long, drawn out salacious details, yet ended up with a conundrum. I look forward to your comments and feedback.
