Can anyone help me with a problem that has cropped up and I have yet to solve. When I attempt to include an apostrophe in a word, I get the following: è or È for quotation marks. There used to be a little keyboard symbol on the bottom of my desktop, but it has disappeared. That keyboard would allow me to switch back to convention keystrokes rather than the stuff that I get now. Any suggestions
Cheers,
Thanks to a quick response from reader Rick, the story I couldnt find was:
My Biggest Mistake by H20Wader.
Many thanks, Rick.
cheers,
At my age, I'm no longer surprised that I can't remember much. I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to find a story about three couples. The wives take a vacation to the Alaska wilderness and the husbands stay home to mind the children. Hanky panky takes place in Alaska and it's up to the husbands to figure out what happened.
Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
Cheers,
I've been surprised and pleased at the positive feedback I've received on "Dory." I suppose the surprise is that it's a Romance story with a bit of action. I have another like it underway, but it will be a while before posting since it is unfinished and I'll have to sneak it by my technical guru, DaveT.
In the meantime I'm well underway on an action/adventure/romance that I think will slot into the Orca Investigations genre. Tentative title: "Long, Tall Sally."
Of course, I should get cracking on "Far Better Than New," since it's a sequel that's stalled as well. Lots to do, and worse than that, no reason not to do it.
Cheers
A reader recently advised me that Chapter 5 (the final chapter) was missing from my story of 2010, "Better Than New." I had no idea that it wasn't there and immediately posted it which appeared Sunday evening.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't missing when I originally posted the story, but I can't be certain. The missing chapter does a lot of tying of loose ends from the story's plot, so it is important.
Moreover, I'm starting to write a sequel to the story and that would make the plot more difficult to understand.
I hope you aren't too disappointed and read it in full again.
Cheers,
Coaster2 (Steve)
