New Story The Sun of Another Century

I’m currently 200k words into my coming main book series, but while taking a break to solve some plot knots, I accidentally wrote something completely different.

To clear my head, I started messing around with SillyTavern and accidentally struck gold.

The AI sparked a fascinating premise: a cross-century meeting between two strangers in an Arabian cave. I took the raw text from that chat, heavily edited and reshaped it, and turned it into a proper story.

Check out the first chapter below. If you like where it's going, leave a comment and I may roll out chapter two!

Hey everyone!

I can hardly believe we've reached the end of my first English story! As a native German speaker, I never imagined I'd be able to write a full story in English. Thanks to modern translation tools, I was able to minimize errors and share this tale with you all. What an incredible journey it's been!

I've truly enjoyed writing this story and I hope you've had just as much fun reading it. I really fell in love with some of these characters along the way. Andy, Nami, Cloe, and the rest of the gang have found a special place in my heart. I'm already thinking about how I might bring them back in future stories - they're just too good to let go!

Interestingly, when I started this, I had no real plan beyond using summer as a backdrop. I'm thrilled so many of you decided to come along for the ride.

As for what's next, I'm actually about 20 chapters into a new story. This one will be much more plot-oriented. While the first intimate scene doesn't appear until chapter 10, I believe the story will be more engaging to follow.

However, it'll take a few weeks before I'm confident I haven't missed anything important. I want to make sure it's just right before I start sharing it with you all.

Thank you again for joining me on this adventure. Until next time, happy reading!

Chapter 26: Movie Star

Andy and Cloe on a film set.

I just hope I could bring the images from my head into the story.
This also gave me a base to bring Cloe back in the next story I write.

I have already 20 Chapters of my next story but it will take some time till I publish it, because I do a lot more planning and editing this time.
For Andy's story I sometimes wished I hadn't already published the first chapters and I could go back and lay the foundation for things to come up later.

Chapter 25: Bangkok

Hey there, fellow readers!

I wanted to capture the sensory overload of Bangkok - the sights, sounds, and smells that assault you as soon as you step off the plane.
And of course, the tension between Andy and Aunt Cloe as they navigate this exotic new world together.
Their relationship is complex and I'm trying to walk that line of taboo.

Anyway, I had a blast writing this chapter.

Next up - lights, camera, action as we head to the movie set! As always, thanks for reading!

Cheers

Chapter 23: Start of a Journey

If you ever wrote stories yourself you may discovered that certain characters started to have a live of their own. They don't want to go the roads you paved for them but denied those and found new ways.
Sometimes that is stressing and sometimes it is pure fun.
Aunt Cloe is one of those characters and she is definitely pure fun. I enjoy every scene with her and already decided she has to reappear in my next story.

Hope she is as fun to read as she is fun to write about.

Cheers
