Hello readers. Two quick updates.
In case you have missed the news, book four of John's story Cut and Run is now posting on SOL.
Tomorrow, chapter three will post and we will see John back in familiar grounds.
Also, The entire 130k word book is currently for sale on Bookapy. Now that the story is trickling out on SOL, I've began lowering the price of the complete book listed there. The new price will hopefully be set later tonight or tomorrow.
Thank you for those that have already bought a copy!
As always, I love your comments, reviews and feedback. They do help me improve and I consider everything sent to me.
Book four Cut and Run of the Make the Cut series will begin posting here soon. I plan on releasing it a chapter a week and this will begin on Saturday.
The book is currently on Bookapy as an advanced reader version. I will be updating that version sometime next month along with lowering the listing price a bit.
Thank you and have a great fall.
Early feedback on book four now on Bookapy has been promising. Thank you for your support if you've already grabbed a copy and a special thanks to
Fred for leaving a review. They help!
To address a lingering concern, I fully expect there to be a book five. I'm already at work on it and making daily progress.
As far as a post schedule for Book four here, I am planning to start releasing chapters in next month. There will also likely be physical copies available before winter (message me for details.)
In other news, I've been working on the plot and various parts of episode two of The Caretaker. No schedule at this time but I'm aiming for winter. Tentative (possibly spoiler) title is "The housekeeper."
This coming weekend will mark the one year anniversary of me deciding to be brave (or stupid) enough to pull the trigger and click "submit" for my first story here.
That story was the first few chapters in my apocalyptic sci-fi story "Make the Cut"
It was received fairly well and I was encouraged to continue posting. Editors began to offer their help to make it somewhat readable and coherent. Some even prompted me to 'figure the damn plot out' and have an ending target.
Parts two and three soon followed and together, the three added up to a decent novel sized grouping. Thus, Book 1 "Make the Cut" was born.
Book two and three came next over the next half a year as the plot demanded 'Trilogy'! With that, the story had found a decent stopping point and I was content.
... for a while. John's story had more to tell. In late spring I started jotting down the basis for a book four. The book fought back and the plot twisted and turned. But, I finally wrangled it into something presentable.
My editors had a first go at it and tweaked it further. They even had their chance to stop the train wreck, but alas, its too late. Momentum is too strong.
I've still got a few people giving it a final polish but last night, I finished my own milestone edits of the first passes and its very close. Close enough to release as an ARC in time to meet my one year anniversary here. If you are interested, its up on Bookapy.
Hope you like it. Check back soon for updates on when to expect the SOL release.
